co-owner
Hello, my name is Carolyn. I am co-owner of Mount Washington Valley Vision. I have worked in
healthcare for the last 13 years, with 12 of Optical experience. I have over 20 years of
management experience. My heart for Mount Washington Valley Vision is to help people get the
eyecare they need now, not sometime down the road in the future. When the valley had a bunch
of eye doctors retire/leave the area, I knew I had a solution by bringing in tele-optometry. It is a
cutting-edge platform that allows us to be able to give basic eyecare to everyone. It allows us to
get the people who need more in-depth care in to see a specialist faster. Previous to our
opening, it took 9 months or longer to get an eye appointment in town. We love being able to
offer walk-in appointments daily.
When I am not at MWVV, I love to kayak the local lakes and rivers. I spend time walking the
track at Kennett Regional. Or you can find me spending time with Copper-my beagle and
Daisey- my beagle basset hound. I love the outdoors and walking my dogs.

Washington Valley area. When I am not working, I love traveling and hope to visit
Ireland/Scotland with my family one day.

Licensed Optician
Hi, my name is Heather, I have worked as a state licensed optician for 3 years now. I’m also a Transitions certified specialist. I grew up in Southern NH and moved to this area in 1995. I immediately fell in love with the community feel of the valley. I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family. I am married and have a daughter who I am very proud of. Helping to bring clearer vision to our patient’s lives is truly the most satisfying profession. I look forward to getting the pleasure of meeting you and your families.
Optician
Hello, my name is Lyrica. I am an Optician here at Mount Washington Valley Vision. My favorite
part of what I do is working with patients going through the exam lane process. I love being able
to explain how our eye exams work, what each of our tests are for, and how they help us to give
you the best eye healthcare that we can. When I am not working, I love spending my time with
my family visiting the many area attractions like Sherman farms, and area beaches, and playing
at the parks with my children.
